Wordstorm

WORDSTORM is a cosy rainy-day word game built on the nine-letter puzzle. Every 3×3 board is dealt from a hidden nine-letter word, so a solution is always there — the question is whether you find it before the rain spells it out for you. Play the five-minute score attack, climb one board from four letters to nine in Storm Chase, or take a ranked match against a stranger or a friend by four-letter code. Alongside it sits Lessons: sixteen untimed modules on meanings, word parts, meaning match and word roots, where nothing is scored and no question can be failed — miss twice and a letter is handed over, and then another, until the word is standing. Soft paper, no glow, nothing that startles.
