Power Up Chess

You spot a great move, you're ready to go... and now you're just sitting there while the other player thinks about it. Forever. PowerUp Chess fixes that. There are no turns at all in PVP mode! Both players move at the same time, so the board is always busy and you always have something to do. Spot a great square? Go get it — before someone else does. And then there are the power-ups. ⭐ They pop up on empty squares all through the match, and any piece that lands on one grabs it. Your rook might turn super fast and start zipping around the board. Their bishop might get frozen in a block of ice. You can give a pawn a shield so it survives anything, bring one of your fallen pieces back to life, or set off a big bomb that clears everything around it. You never know what's coming next, and neither does your opponent. Matches take about five minutes, and they always end the same way: "one more!" Here's the cool part — it's still real chess underneath. The pieces move the way they always have, and everything you learn here works in a normal game too. You're just learning it way faster, and having a lot more fun doing it. Never played chess before? Start in the Chess Academy.
